About

Designer
Teruki Uchise started traveling the world in his late teens, leaving Japan behind.

Of all the places he visited, Mexico had the deepest influence. In Mexico, he learned the craftsmanship of jewelry and leather accessories from street artists and tribal communities. He adopted a lifestyle of selling his creations on the streets while traveling.

In 1999, after years of such experiences in Mexico, he relocated to Bali, establishing an atelier and founding KMRii in 2000.

In the early stages, he created the KB bag, a belt bag catering to a nomadic lifestyle with compartments for essentials like knives, lights, wallets, and phones. These were marketed at rave festivals in India and Europe.

Following that, he participated in the Paris Collection, and in 2007, he left KMRii to launch 14th Addiction. Over the next decade, he created various items. However, starting in 2017, he took a break from showcasing collections, focusing on a serene life surfing in Bali. In 2024, he revived his creative spark and embarked on a new artistic journey.
